BETH HALL, MARK COOLEY and CELIA COOLEYwork together making art, practicing permaculture, herbalism, and non-institutional education on what they like to call the Flawed Homestead, a ¼ lot located in outer suburbs of Washington DC. While Beth and Mark have worked individually and collaboratively for many years, exhibiting internationally and teaching at various universities, it was the birth of their daughter 9 years ago that set them on their most challenging, rewarding and consequential creative project to date - parenthood.
